This singles depicting ‘Rupmanjari Malhar’ on the sitar is kind of putting in air in a long running vacuum. There is hardly any depiction of ‘Repmanjari Malhar’ in any mode of music available for the music lovers. This one is a brilliantly depicted Rupmanjari Malhar by Pt. Sanjoy Bandopadhyay in his sensitive sitar. The listeners will like the way the artist built up the raga with the delicate use of the beauty phrase ‘nPMRG’. The well thought awe-inspiring applications of Malhar Ang ‘MRP’ that was not done in abundance but as a prize phrase.
Dilip Mukherjee provided a matching tabla support.
